On Wednesday the Fitchburg Housing Authority held a celebration for the 40th anniversary of the Durkin Apartments on Day Street and announced the newest grant they where awarded. During the ceremony they also honored Clarence Durkin who the building was named after. Many members of his family came to help honor him.
