Construction work started on Tuesday at Barrett Park in Leominster on all of the renovations. They have already taken out the old tennis courts were a new pavilion will be erected and they have also started on cutting down and trimming more then 30 trees. Because of the work they say the park will be closed this week or until the tree trimming is done. It should be open next week. It will closed again when work starts on the trails to make them handicapped accessible. All work should be done some time in June. SENTINEL & ENTERPRISE/JOHN LOVE
